After a 53-week hiatus, my public site is back. I'm putting my public posts back into my own domain.
Hopefully, LJ will follow the redirect from my old feed linked in
stuology_rss to my new one. That way, those that already have it on their friend's list will not have to add a new one.
Why LJ doesn't tie a rss feed to an account is beyond me. I bet they have lots of dead feeds. Mine has been trying to check it almost every hour for the last 53 weeks. That's silly. If I could create it as part of my account, I would have deleted it and saved them the bandwidth.
If the redirect works, some of you will get a couple of repeat posts--sorry about that. My family will be readers of my public one, and I wanted to put Ada's birthday posts up.

This journal has gone friends only for a short time.
